The big news for the "Ampt" VX-24 helmet is the addition of Scorpion's trademarked AIRFIT® technology taken from the top-of-line roadracing helmets and adapted for off-road use. Scorpion is pumped about its all-new off-road lid, literally! Simply put, you can pump up the cheek pad inflation system along the jaw line to ensure the perfect fit.

In addition to the perfect fit, the VX-24 maximizes protection as the polycarbonate shell is combined with Scorpion's state-of-the-art dual density EPS liner to absorb maximum energy. In fact, this combination meets or exceeds all Snell/DOT safety standards.

Above and beyond passing the protection test, Scorpion's KwikWick® washable moisture-wicking comfort liner keeps riders cool no matter how hot the action is on the MX track. Speaking of cool, the all new Aero-tuned front ventilation system and redesigned rear exhaust ports ensure plenty of airflow over the top of the scalp. While they were at it, the Scorpion engineers also redesigned the mouthpiece at the front of the chinbar to flow more air without skimping on protection.

The chinbar wasn't the only piece getting a revamp - the rubber nose roost shield now deflects more debris without reducing the generous goggle/eye port area. Capping all the technical improvements off, the Ampt graphics definitely pump things up! The VX-24 is also available in Solid Black and Matte Black. Best of all, Scorpion still offers a full three-year warranty.
