2000 Mladin won the Daytona 200 after a long battle with Honda's Nicky Hayden... He went on to take three more wins, five second-place finishes, and the AMA Superbike Championship title... Raced with Yoshimura Suzuki.
1999 Mladin's second-place finishes at the Daytona and Phoenix AMA Superbike races placed him in the season points lead early on. An April win at Sears Point and four more podium finishes allowed Mladin to hold that lead for the remainder of the season and take his first AMA Superbike Championship... Rode for Yoshimura Suzuki.

AMA Formula Xtreme

Hometown: Baltimore, OH

Background:Hebron, Ohio-based Pegram Racing is a professional superbike race team competing in the AMA Superbike Championship Series. The team is owned and managed by Larry Pegram, a third-generation motorcycle racer. In 2007, Larry finished fourth overall in the Formula Xtreme class. The 2007 season had its ups and downs but Pegram rode strong and ended the season with three podium finishes on a modified Ducati 749. Earlier in his career, Larry raced for a number of famous teams like Ferraci Ducati, Yoshimura Suzuki, Competition Accessories Ducati, Erion Racing and Hooterʼs Suzuki. In 1999, Larry won the Willow Springs Superbike race on a Ferraci Ducati. Pegram enjoys racing dirt track and Supermoto, when he isnʼt road racing. He also rides motocross at his private track to train for road racing. For 2008 the team is competing in the Lockhart Phillips USA Formula Xtreme class on a modified Ducati 848.

Background: I started racing National events in 1983 with the Mr. Turbo funnybike team as a mechanic. In 1995 the first national fastest streetbike competion was held and I won that. I won the National title again in 1998, 2001 and 2002. I never finished worse than #3 in a full season. In 2003 my CBR1100XX was the first to break the 500HP mark at the MMI HP shootout at Bikeweek. In 2004 I ran the first milestone record of 200 MPH on a streetbike. My family and I are avid water skiers. My goals are to win a fifth National championship as a rider and help bring the nations Quickest and Fastest Streetbikes to entertain the masses.

Racing Association: Toyota Arenacross Series

Hometown: Julian, NC

Background: Jim Neese has been riding motorcycles since 1983. When Jim was younger his Dad raced karts; during intermission Jim would race Big-Wheels and entertain the crowds. Jim still races professionally (motorcycles, not big-Wheels) in the Toyota Arenacross Series. He also races in the southeastern MEGA and ULTRA Series races.

In addition to racing competitively and building a race team, Jim trains future motocross champions like Broc Tickle and Kyle Peters. The Jim Neese Rider Development program was designed by Jim to help riders develop their motocross skills. He is also a partner in OCR - Action Sports Park, which is located just outside of Durham, NC. Jim also builds and designs tracks, his reputation for designing and building tracks is as good as his reputation as a racer and a teacher.

Jim’s style on the track is aggressive and flashy. He is an entertaining racer to watch. Off the track, Jim is a bit more laid back. He is articulate, funny and gets to the point.

Background: I started racing about 7 years ago at a few local drag racing events. In 2006 & 2007 I took on a more competitive venue and started racing in the AMA-Prostar events. I'm a father and a husband. In my spare time when i'm not racing or practicing i like to spend time with my family, bowling, hanging out at the local bike shop, and volunteering my time in the community helping others. I'm very happy to be a part of the Scorpion Team.

Background: All I wanna do is ride! I’ve been riding Streetbike Freestyle competitively for almost 7 years now, in addition to being a private school Latin Teacher; and I’ve had the opportunity to see things and go places I never thought possible. In my spare time you can usually find me riding mini bikes, trials bikes, motocross, road racing, or any other motorized activity. I also enjoy working out and playing basketball. My goals for 2007 and beyond include not only total domination of the competition circuit; but also to be the most publicized, professional, and active Freestyle Street Extreme athlete in the world.

Background: I have been on 2 wheels since the age of 6 when I received my first dirt bike for Christmas. As soon as I rode that Suzuki DS 80, I was hooked! I bought my first sport bike at the age of 19, and after 6 months of "normal" street riding, I was introduced to the world street freestyle by Chris "Teach" Mcneil. After watching him ride for a day, I knew that was what I wanted to do! I have been competing for 4 years know, and have traveled to over 12 countries, as well as all over the United States. I have been fortunate enough to podium in at least 1 event at every competition I have ever entered.
